Implant

The birth control implant (AKA Nexplanon) is 99% effective and is a tiny, thin rod about the size of a matchstick inserted in upper arm, just under skin. The implant releases hormones into your body that prevent you from getting pregnant. The implant is effective for three years, but can be removed sooner.
