How can I pay property taxes?

Pay in person at the Jefferson County Treasurer's Office during office hours - Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. through 4:30 p.m.  We do accept Cash in person in the Office.

Pay with check, money order or cashier’s check (no cash) and send by USPS, or use the Treasurer’s drop box:

Make sure the postmark is on or before the property tax due date to avoid interest or penalties.

Three additional drop boxes available for payment by check in April and October are located at:

Pay by credit card (Visa, Master Card, Discover or American Express), Visa Debit, Electronic Check. Information on convenience fees are online at Pay Online -  Property Taxes and Assessments webpage.

Pay by phone at 1-877-812-8072. You must have your property ID number and know the amount to pay from your statement.
