[ARCHIVED] Ferry Advisory Committee (FAC) Seeks a New Members to Fill a Vacancy

The Jefferson County Commissioners are seeking an individual to fill a position on the 5-member Ferry Advisory Committee (FAC) to represent businesses or organizations that depend upon the Port Townsend-Coupeville ferry route for commercial activity. The FAC provides input to Washington State Ferries (WSF) on problems experienced by ferry users and ferry communities, reviews the allocation of vessels to runs, schedules, and the adequacy of terminals, participates in the development of ferry fares, fare policies, and route service levels, and assists in developing the WSF Long-Range Plans for capital and operating investments. The FAC meets every other month, or more often if needed.

 

The successful applicant will be appointed to a Four (4) Year Term. Applicants must reside in Jefferson County, and may be asked to disclose membership in a political party to avoid a majority (per RCW 47.60.310). Applicants should submit a written statement of interest to the Board of County Commissioners, P.O.
