An Ordinance Adopting a New Chapter 15.20 of the Jefferson County Code to Establish A Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy and Resiliency (“C-PACER”) Program within Jefferson County


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing is scheduled by the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners for MONDAY, October 9, 2023 at 2:30 p.m. in the Commissioners’ Chambers, County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson Street, Port Townsend, WA 98368 (HYBRID). Notice of said hearing is to be published in the official newspaper of Jefferson County. 


This hearing is to consider enactment of chapter 15.20 of the Jefferson County Code, as authorized by Chapter 36.165 of the Revised Code of Washington (“the C-PACER Act”), of a voluntary program to allow owners of agricultural, commercial, and industrial properties and of multifamily residential properties to obtain low-cost, long-term financing for qualifying improvements, including energy efficiency, water conservation, renewable energy, and resiliency projects. The ordinance is exempt from State Environmental Policy Act, and is consistent with the C-PACER Act.
