Crocheted/Knitted Breast Models Needed for Public Health

JEFFERSON COUNTY—Volunteers are needed to crochet or knit models of breasts for Jefferson County Public Health. The models will be used by health department staff and partners to educate parents about breast and chest feeding. This project is in preparation for Breastfeeding Month in August.

Volunteers must use their own yarn. The yarn may be any color and must come from a smoke-free household. There is no limit to number of models donated.

The donated models may be dropped off M-F 9-4:30 at the Jefferson County Public Health clinic next to the QFC grocery store in Port Townsend, or mailed to 615 Sheridan St, Port Townsend, WA 98368.

The donation deadline is August 31, 2023.
