Jefferson County Multi-Use Trails

Larry Scott Trail

Jefferson County manages the 7.3-mile non-motorized, multi-use Larry Scott Memorial Trail (LST) from Port Townsend Boat Haven to Milo Curry Road in the Four Corners Area of Discovery Bay. The LST is the first segment of the Olympic Discovery Trail (ODT) that is envisioned to connect Jefferson County to the Pacific Ocean through Sequim, Port Angeles, and Forks.

Rick Tollefson Trail

In 2018, Public Works completed Phase 1 of the Rick Tollefson Trail (RTT,) connecting HJ Carroll Park to Old Hadlock Road.  An additional phase is planned to connect HJ Carrol Park to Bob Bates Fields on Chimacum Road. Southerly extensions will connect HJ Carroll Park to Chimacum Schools Campus and Chimacum Crossroads. Long-term plans are to connect the existing Rick Tollefson Trail to Jefferson County Library through county right-of-way and county property.
