*The official 2000 census population figure for Jefferson County is 25,953. The Washington State Office of Financial Management believes that Olympic Correction Center (Clearwater Honor Camp) was incorrectly included in the Clallam County population count and has calculated a revised figure of 26,299. OFM has submitted a correction to the Census Bureau where it is under review. 10/29/2002
