PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND REQUIRED PERMITS/STUDIES:
Plat alteration of the Villas by the Sea subdivision to
vacate a turnaround and a portion of the 10-ft wide
stormwater drainage and roadway maintenance easement
between Lots 18 and 19.  The vacated portion of the
stormwater drainage and roadway maintenance easement will
be relocated along the southern boundary of Lots 18 and 19.
The purpose of this application is to enlarge Lots 18 and
19 to become more suitable building lots.  

This is a Type II Permit Application that is exempt from
SEPA review.  There will not be a public hearing unless a
hearing is requested within fourteen (14) days of receipt
of the notice.  Such request shall be submitted to the
Department by 4:30 pm. on March 8, 2006.

COMMENT PERIOD AND WHERE TO VIEW DOCU
The application and any studies may be reviewed at the
Jefferson County Department of Community Development.  All
interested persons are invited to (a) comment on the
application; (b) receive notice of and participate in any
hearings; and (c) receive a copy of the decision by
submitting such written comment(s)/request(s) to the
Jefferson County Department of Community Development,
Development Review Division, 621 Sheridan Street, Port
Townsend, WA 98368, (360) 379-4450.  Comments concerning
this application should be submitted to the Department by
4:30 p.m. on March 8, 2006.  If the last day of the comment
period falls on a weekend or holiday, then the comment
period shall be extended to the first working day after the
weekend or holiday.   Comments submitted after this date
may not be considered in the staff report.
