Mission Statement

Jefferson County Animal Services (JCAS) exists to reflect the community's concerns about domestic animals: to protect both people and animals, to help resolve conflicts arising as a result of the two living together, and educate the community about the basic needs of domestic animals - food, water, shelter, heath care, socialization, training, and love for the lifetime of the animal.
